South Island Marina is ideally situated for those who wish to retreat up river to the rural delights of the Upper Lee and the River Stort. We are situated on the River Lee Navigation at Ponders End, just three hours cruising from the River Thames at Limehouse and within a day’s cruising of central London.

The moorings are easily accessible by major transport links including;

  • A 10 minute drive to Junction 25 of the M25 Motorway

  • A 2 minute walk to Ponders End Station with journey times of 10 minutes to the London Underground at Tottenham Hale and 25 minutes to London Liverpool Street and 30 minutes to Hertford in the north

  • A 2 minute walk to bus stop for buses to Edmonton, Enfield, Chingford, Tottenham, Waltham Cross and Barnet

  • Within a few minutes walking distance of local convenience stores, take away restaurants, a bakery and a public house

  • Secure car parking and electricity to every berth
